Company Secretarial Assistant

The role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Company Secretarial Assistant to join our growing team in Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in corporate governance, company administration, and regulatory compliance within a supportive and professional environment promoting best practice. This is a full time role based in Jersey, Channel Islands.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of statutory records, minute books, registers, and Registry filings.
  • Prepare and submit annual confirmation statements, regulatory filings, and other submissions to the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) Registry.
  • Maintain accurate corporate databases and ensure documents are filed and stored in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Assist with incorporations, dissolutions, share transfers, updates in officer and members and their details, and other corporate actions.
  • Liaise with clients, directors, service providers, and regulatory authorities in a friendly, professional and prompt manner. 

The candidate

Skills & Experience

  •  At least two years’ experience in a company secretarial, corporate administration, or governance-related role.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to draft clear, concise minutes and correspondence.
  • Good understanding of corporate structures and Jersey regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with digital document management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, reliable, friendly, and professional approach to work.

    Qualifications

    • ICSA/CGI (Chartered Governance Institute) qualification or interest in studying towards it is beneficial.
    • We will provide on the job and support relevant external training to enable progression.
